Bedding Basics

  • Sheets

  • Duvet

  • Duvet Cover

  • Mattress Protector

  • Pillow Protector

  • Pillows

I recommend 3 sets of sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers per bed (1 made up, 1 spare, 1 for ease of laundering off site for quick turnovers). White is the most common, crisp and clean, reminiscent of a hotel, easy to bleach when necessary. You’ll want pill-resistant, wrinkle free. Try my tested, favorite Short Term Rental Sheets!

  • Extra Pillowcases are handy, they receive the most wear and a little stain is a big turn off.

  • 2 pillows per guest (2 for twin beds, 4 for queen or king, a few spares if you have alternative sleeping areas such as a pull out couch.

  • One pillow and mattress protector is sufficient, as they do not need to be changed with every turnover, but I always have spares just in case.
