One Day, $0 Playroom

This “playroom” was really just an unused toy storage area full of wire shelving and no method to the madness. One Saturday afternoon, we decided to change that. A little organization magic, some repurposed items, and the space was transformed in one day on a zero dollar budget. The kids were pleased to know there was one small bag of trash and one box for donation, yet their space seemed to triple in size. I’ve had this old window for quite some time and decided to hang it for fun and extra lighting, moved a few unused furniture items from elsewhere around the house, and voila! A new room with a purpose is created. An art station, a game table, seating, and neatly organized and labeled toys make this space inviting and suited for fun!
